My name is Sarah Gemmell and I am the CEO and Head Trainer at Gem Fitness. I have a Bachelor's Degree from Rowan University and I am a Nationally Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
I started Gem Fitness so that I can help busy, hard-working women to lose unwanted fat, get fit, and improve overall health without taking up a lot of time or money. I know what it is like to work full time and feel like you don’t have time to keep up with your workout schedule. As a woman who works hard day in and day out, time is precious, but getting healthy and staying fit is perfectly possible.
I started off with in-person personal training, which I absolutely love (and still offer on a very limited basis), but I have recently transitioned into the online space. I made this transition for one major reason: MY CLIENTS. Offering online services has allowed be to give my clients more freedom with their schedule - and their money! I can also make support, education, and motivation available to my clients 24/7 instead of just one half hour per week.
I am convinced that my calling in life is to help others, so that is what I am doing! Fitness is more than looking good. It is about feeling good and maximizing overall health for the best quality of life possible. I am helping women to do this every single day and I love it!
